What did everyone think of these movies?

The odd number films are my favourites 1, 3 and 5. 3 -The Marsupials is the Australian one so it has special place for me. and 5 - The Re-birth was a neat reworking of The Beast Must Die.

Part 1 I've never gotten the comedy with it, but that doesn't mean it's not impressive. Love the transformation, love the look of the creature, for me it's #2 on the werewolf list behind Dog Soldiers.
Part 2 was pitched to me to be better than it really was by a friend (he said the entire movie was set in the castle and was them hunting the creatures down basically from start to finish) so I had a disappointing go-round the first time I saw it but I came to appreciate it's cheesy nature on subsequent viewings.
Part 3 was funny for me in that the main thing I remember about it was wanting to see the movie the crew was shooting as an actual film, that was pretty interesting and I wanted to see it done as a full-length movie. The lowered gore status didn't sit well with me, but I thought it was pretty good.
I've always, always been a huge fan of Part 4, it was one of the first films that I really enjoyed immensely and it still works for me.
Part 5 I taped off Sci-Fi (and yes, that's back when it was still called that, it was shown in 2000 or 2001 when I taped it) but I've never seen it since and don't remember anything about it. I accidentally taped over it before I could really give it a watch.
Haven't seen 6 and 7.
Part 8, Reborn, has a thread here so my thoughts for it on in that one.

Only saw 1, which of course is a classic.
And the carnival one? That was pretty horrible.

6 - The Freaks was the carnival one clath. And GL don't rush to see 7 - New Moon Rising - I think you will hate it.There's was hardly no werewolf action at all.

That's what I've heard as well, but it's still a horror film.
