Well, seeing as how we don't have a whole lot of classic horror on here yet, let's do one of the best ones in the genre. Again, my thoughts after a couple of replies.

This is the birth on the movie monster to me. I ain't seen it in many years, but it is a classic. With countless spin-offs, rip-offs and remakes how can you not like this movie?

5. This is a masterpiece. JAmes WHale's stroke of genius is to make the monster sympathetic. KArloff's performance is incredible. Not quite as great as Bride, but a wonderful film in it's own right

Ok, now a 5 from me as well. One of the first great horror movies of all time, full of some wonderful suspense from the time period, incredible make-up work, and, considering the time it was released, some actual horrific scenes that must've freaked audiences out at the time. I can just imagine a person walking into the theatre showing this dressed in full gown-attire and seeing the sequence where the creature wakes up and stirs his hand. Their reaction to a shot like that must've been priceless. I also think this has the best series of sequels to it from Universal, as their Legacy Collection includes some outstanding films. One of the few films of that time period that I have nothing bad to say about.
