The best DVD I own would have to be either Seed Of Chucky or The Devil's Rejects. They are great movies with really cool extras.

If you want to know what DVD I cherish above all others... That would be none other than : Anchor Bay's 1999 region 1 release of Dario Argento's amazing 1984 insect-horror / slasher (supernatural giallo) classic, Phenomena. As for what DVD in my collection do I think is the Best DVD Package altogether, all things considered... Well, some of my best include: MGM's special edition of this amazing 1976 masterpiece of horror has probably the best retrospective interview featurettes of almost any DVD I own. They go over almost every, single, solitary, last detail of the movie in great detail. And they reunited almost the entire cast and some of the most important crew members. With over an hour and 25 minutes of featurettes, plus the film's original trailer, and an excellent photo gallery slideshow... this DVD gives you almost everything you would need for this movie. But, is this "THE Best" Horror DVD in my collection? Probably not. Because, MGM never was able to secure the Criterion Collection laserdisc audio commentary by director Brian De Palma, which I'm told is very important and itself includes things not discussed in the featurettes. Plus, the video transfer restoration of the movie is good, but too many scenes look very fuzzy. There's a lot of fuzziness on the camera lens. Another contender for the Best horror DVD in my collection would be : 20th Century Fox / MGM's 2-Disc Collector's Edition of The Silence of the Lambs. Basically, I waited and waited before buying the movie for a full, complete 2-Disc edition to come out. I started buying DVD's in 2001. They released this in 2006. And I have to say... it was actually worth the wait. This DVD isn't perfect. It's missing the Criterion Collection DVD's audio commentary and a feature that shows us a full length version of a scene they show on a TV screen in the movie (the Gospel program Chilton uses to torture Lecter with). But, these exclusions are forgivable when considering just how much stuff they do give us on this DVD edition. There are well over 2 hours worth of featurettes on the making of the movie and almost every single member of the cast and crew shares their stories about making the movie (the only person who is left behind is Kasie Lemmons - Clarice's black friend at the FBI training center). They even managed to get Gene Hackman to talk about the movie and he didn't even have anything to do with it (he was going to direct it before they let Jonathan Demme take over). Actually... I do think this DVD has to get the edge over Carrie. But both are so well produced and satisfying in terms of bonus features, that it's the kind of thing that really shows people how important DVD is. And how much it can give back to movie fans. But, no mention of DVD's I'm most fond or proud of can possibly be complete without talking about the (only) 1 DVD that I physically squealed about when it arrived in the mail (I was so excited that I passed out on my bed with the thing sitting right next to my head as I slept) : (Different cover, naturally) I bought this 2 years after it was released. Because I didn't want to give Paramount my hard earned money if they weren't going to put the Uncut films together in the set, or at least give us more Bonus Features. My main problem is that they didn't give each movie it's own single disc. If they had done that, they could have made more bonus features for each movie and filled out each disc more. Instead, they doubled up on every disc and just gave us bonus features for "some" of the movies on the 5th "Killer Extras" Disc. Thank God we got trailers for each of the movies (only teasers on Jason Lives and Jason Takes Manhattan). But, they only put in uncut gore footage for parts 1, 6, and 7. They didn't even have the heart to give us Annie's uncut death when they already had it uncut on the first DVD release of the movie back in 1999. They force you to buy the first movie on DVD separately just to get that extra 5 seconds of footage. What the flying... ? But anyway... the reason I bought the boxset anyway was because I love these movies. I REALLY love these movies. I love them so much that I know almost all of them by heart. Every scene. Almost every last line. Lots of trivia. I love these movies. These are some of my absolute favorite horror movies ever made. So... it's definitely one of my "Best" DVD's in my collection. Just because I love the movies. It's one of my most cherished DVD sets. Just because of the movies.

I'm not sure because I have so many. Recently, I was able to get Paper Moon on amazon for cheap so I'm happy and proud of that one. Love the movie! Another would probably be Oyster Farmer. Alex O'Loughlin has a really hot love scene in it and its one of his first movies.

I haven't seen that version of Black Swan. I've actually been contemplating for months whether I should get it or not. It always pops up when I'm looking for movies. Maybe its a sign.

It has nothing to do with that recent ballet movie if that's what you're thinking.

What happened to Shaun's head CT?
I'd say that Anchor Bay's 3 - disc Suspiria release would be the pinnacle for me.For the soundtrack alone.
