WHAT DVDs do you have in your collection that you haven't ever watched - for whatever reason... be it a collector's edition you'll never unwrap, a purchase made under the influence, or just because you had a buying binge and have moved on while the film has been forgotten/saved for later?
Toad unfortunately has a pile of discs that fall into this category - including a large number of Argento titles where Mrs T has said ''don't watch that now, we'll watch it together later...'' Sigh.
And then there's the cheapie impules buys which one day I will get around to. The likes of Leprechaun, a few Tromas and so forth.
I exclude here copies of films I have rented or seen at the pictures previously and picked up a copy of because I have to own them (like The Proposition or Psycho).
Anyone else?

[post by Phantom]Yeah, i've got a stack of titles that i've not opened, and probably never will. Mostly collectors stuff, limited editions, boxsets etc. It's pretty nerdy of me i know. It's not like i'm ever going to sell them. (Not anytime soon anyway...) I pretty much watch every other film as i get it. Mrs P doesn't really care for my taste in films.

There's a few still on my unwatched yet list:
The Thing (Yes, I've seen the film before or I would've owned up to it, but I picked up the Collector's Edition on DVD spending spree after Christmas last year and plum forgot all about it til a couple weeks ago, as I had seen the film before but haven't had a chance yet to pop it in as a DVD) Attack of the Sabretooth-Saw it on Sci-Fi Channel last year, picked up the DVD dirt cheap and still haven't seen it uncut Sleepy Hollow-Saw this on cable back when I first got it a decade ago, picked up the DVD when I got a player and haven't viewed it yet. TCM: The Next Generation-Found it for three bucks at a store and decided to replace the version I taped off TV, but when I got home, read news of the first two's new special editions, and having already owned part 3 and the remake, decided to wait until having them all on DVD to have a real marathon. An American Werewolf in London-Had the VHS for it and viewed it that way, but picked up the new re-issue and haven't seen it under the DVD format.
That's all mine are: I've seen them before (except for TCM 4) but haven't seen them as a DVD.

Criterion Collection Salo. IT is a great movie, and as soon as it became available again I snatched it right up. But, I had lready seen it and I don't know that I am ever going to be in the mood to watch it again. Part of me wants to show it to Jamie because watching her reaction would be hysterical, but I know the innevitable result is she'd hate it and demand that I let her pick the next half dozen or so movies we watch as punishment for my selection

These are ones I haven't watched yet since I bought them. Caddyshack and Gone with the Wind I have seen in the past but the rest I haven't.

Haha I've had that one for a year and am still in no hurry to watch it. I did pay for it though so I'll force myself to watch it some day. Luckily I got it used for real cheap.

The Hellraiser movies are some of my guilty pleasures.....I enjoy them all except for Revelations ....which was absolutely horrible. The other sequels had some interesting ideas I think. Anyway thanks to HNT I still haven't watched Murder Set Pieces.

I think you'll hate it, but it'll amuse me to hear your opinion on it.

Anyway thanks to HNT I still haven't watched Murder Set Pieces. I'm late to the Hellraiser party as I didn't see the first one until several years ago. Liked it a lot though so have been meaning to watch the sequels ever since.

I've got heaps. Usually picked up for about $2 from discount shops.I buy them on spec usually some I've got to,some not.
I did knock Curse of the Fly off my list today, though Dead of Night (1945) still sits there.
