Perhaps-dun remember!
For me-moe than likely DOTD '78. It was a phenom back when I was a lad and it still manages to entertain all these years later.

Surely not??? explain yourself women, or you risk a smiting! Geee I think I hit a nerve !!! But I have reasons . As I said A very old family friend worked for him in the 80's He never gave credit to anyone for their work when he was on TV shows like Letterman all the time his staff was creating all the FX that he took credit for because they worked for him and if they didn't like it to bad !! Plus the one time he visited the haunted house I worked in he belittled one of our makeup artists for something he was doing the sad part was the guy was doing one of Savinis early styles of make-up application and he didn't even realize it and that crushed the kid because all he wanted to do was impress his hero !! Sorry if ya don't like my view of him but thats just my opinion !! Long Live Rick Baker !!!!!!!!!

No love for Children Should'nt play with Dead Things? Along with the three Romero classics(Land was ok but not in the same league)and fulci's beyond and city.... Dead things would easily be one of my faves -in fact one of my fave 70's films full stop.

I've never chased it down because so many people tend to pan it as absolute crap.
I must also confess to a deep and abiding love for Undead (again which some people seem to hate, but it works for me)

If I turn it off at the hour-mark, Toad, it's a good film. Just too much weirdness going on that ruins a great vibe it had going on.
As for the Savini debate: Who cares if he's a prick, what's his work like? That's the way you judge a person, not how they behave on-set.

It's the weirdness that sets it apart for mine. The surreal final half hour really worked for me.
I'm really looking forward now to what the Sperig brothers manage to do with Daybreakers and a decent budget.
