I I'm really looking forward now to what the Sperig brothers manage to do with Daybreakers and a decent budget. So long as they crowbar the copper out of their first movie into anything they subsequently do it will be fried gold.

It's the weirdness that sets it apart for mine. The surreal final half hour really worked for me. I'm really looking forward now to what the Sperig brothers manage to do with Daybreakers and a decent budget. I'm not after the weirdness, it just doesn't really fit tonally with the rest of the film. Daybreakers doesn't look bad at all. I've been on a small vampire kick, as I finally found some good ones outside of Hammer's and all the European Lesbian ones, so it should be fine viewing.
