Have become addicted in a goofy teenager type way to the Horus Heresy books, currently groaning my way through Descent of Angels.

A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin Good choice, great books. I read the latest on holiday a couple of months ago. Only problem is its been so long since the last one I'd forgotten half the detail, and the prospect of waiting another seven years for another is making me wonder why I bothered reading them all in the first place. Martin is a nailed on certainty to do a Frank Herbert/Robert Jordan and peg it before he finishes the sequence.

For some reason I thought A Dance With Dragons would be the last.
