Started reading House on the Borderland by William Hope Hodgson for the third time. Good stuff. Who knows if I'll finish though.

A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin Awesome Jen, I'm planning on starting the series myself soon! No such luck. He reckons he's gonna do nine. Actually, I believe he is planning on the seventh being his last in the series. It fits in with the whole 7 kingdoms and 7 gods thing. He has said he'll do more if it is necessary though, so who really knows...

That's the thing, I read a ridiculous amount, so they really aren't for me...... Well, I say that but I have finished about 10 other books as I have been reading this one....lol.....I usually have two or three going at the same time. Maybe I just take on too much. I really would like to finish this one sometime in the near future......

Recently read "My Wicked Wicked Ways" by Errol Flynn. That is one badass and hilarious book. I highly recommend it. He must have been like the coolest dude ever.

Been mostly reading fanfiction, but I'm also working my way through Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine.

He has said he'll do more if it is necessary though, so who really knows... Back in the late 90s he definitely mentioned doing nine novels in interviews. The fact that he only managed to turn out the fourth and fifth books between 2000 and 2011 has evidently made him adjust his plans. Has anyone read the two Marvel published Hedge Knight comics? They ere written by Martin, based on his own short stories, and fill in a bit of history about Aegon V (Targaryen king and great grandfather of the Baratheons and the surviving Targaryens in Game of Thornes) as a young lad squiring for a penniless Knight. They're very good and add a lot of flavour to the series.

I'm surprised how pricey they are, glad I got mine when they were cheaper. On a positive note though the short stories are in this collection. It's a massive tome but it's been split into two smaller volumes too. Well worth checking out.
