Playing Max Payne 3 at the moment. Ya might as well wait for a price drop, but once it is a little cheaper make sure you play this one people.

Playing a lot of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, which I never thought I would get into. Also playing through Dragon Age 2 again off and on, and also Kingdoms of Amalur some.

Honestly, I'm sure I'll check out GTA V when it comes, but I am not really overwhelmingly excited about it. I think that the series is getting stale and needs a significant change in order to get my attention back. Red Dead Redemption really opened my eyes to how much more could be done with the same basic open world format. I am cautiously optimistic that GTA V will have lots of that stuff going on soon, but I am withholding any judgment or excitement until I see it.
@jen, I really was disappointed in Kingdoms of Amalur. I didn't do much with it, but I kinda found the little bit of time I did play it to be pretty formulaic and boring. And, now that we see what happened with .38 Studios, the whole thing feels like a really sleazy operation that stole a whole bunch of money from the citizens of Rhode Island. Too bad really.

I thought GTA IV was a bit stale despite the improved graphics and more lifelike city and pedestrians etc. But I LOVED Red Dead Redemption (pretty sure it was you who recommended it to me in this very thread a couple of years ago). Of course both are by Rockstar (albeit different divisions I think) so I'm hopeful that it will have a lot of the great features of RDR. In fact I read that the division of Rockstar that did RDR is helping out on GTA V. I'm excited because the things I've been reading seem to indicate it will be a vast improvement over IV (may be why it has taken so long). Also San Andreas was my favorite so I like that they're returning to that setting.

Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Both really good games, but Asylum had a better story.

I have Arkham City but abandoned it early on due to distractions (not because it wasn't good, I really liked it). I definitely should revisit it sometime this summer.

I liked Arkham City a lot. My main criticism of it is some of the open world extra missions are so compltely divorced from the main story that it is a little hard to get motivated to go and do them. I really enjoyed the main story, but I have to have a bit of a criticism in the sense that I beat the game, only got approximately 50% completion percentage on it, but I have no desire at all to go back and continue doing vigilante missions or finding Riddler trophies. I'm just done.

The extra costumes are a nice touch to Arkham City.

Wow, how did you even get an original NES to display on a modern television? Did you buy some sort of additional cable to replace the old AC adapter?

Yeah I connect it with the type of cord that has yellow, white, and red plugs on both ends (not sure what it's called, AV cable I guess?). That tv mostly has hdmi slots but it does have one AV slot luckily.

Yes, composite cables is correct. My television doesn't accept them, so I had to buy a large splitter and converter box just to play my Wii (it ended up costing as much as the Wii itself). I suppose now that I have installed it, I could put a NES there as well and play it using the selecter. Hmmmm. Now to find a working NES...

Completed Mass Effect 3 last week. Liked it a lot. Soooooo......without spoiling anyone, what about that ending that has people so outraged.....what did you think? HNT: I love the look of Kingdoms of Amalur and the character builds.....but I can only play a little bit at a time, or I get bored as well. So yeah, a bit of a disappointment.
