Completed Mass Effect 3 last week. Liked it a lot. Soooooo......without spoiling anyone, what about that ending that has people so outraged.....what did you think? Most of it is nerd-rage as far as I can tell, from people who want to go back and replay it 84 times to experience every possible variation it has to offer. They were upset because essentially none of the decisions you make during the game have any real impact in terms of alternate endings. Much like the last Deus Ex game the ending is a simple case of last minute choices. It worked for me. On the other hand I'm surprised that more hasn't been made of some of the ridiculous design and sexual content decisions. Rating a game as mature simply in order to have some hot shower action and the most ridiculously over-rendered camel toe in gaming history smacks of rank immaturity in the halls of Bioware.

Alas....I am one of those nerds..... I play these games quite a bit... ;)Though I was actually pretty pleased by the experience overall, so I was surprised by all the hate. I would have like more variety in the ending (it felt really rushed to me). And there is at least one plot hole that I hope they address in the extended cut or whatever.....but thematically I think it worked. Bioware screwed themselves over though here, they made promises they couldn't possibly keep. I understood a long time ago, it was more the illusion of choice (baffles me how many people are pissed about automatic dialogue, when even in the first one, several of the dialogue "choices" were exactly the same), but I think a lot people bought into Bioware's hype, and is now expecting them to answer for it, which is kind of silly really. Any problems I had with the ending were small though compared to how much I absolutely LOVED the missions on Tuchanka and Rannoch. I actually don't mind the sexual content (no more ridiculous than blue sex babes who everyone is attracted to, no matter what, or oh so perfect Miranda, so it's just a part of the series to me, and I am cool with that) but I hated the addition of Diane Allers. The only character in these games I just completely ignore.

Miranda died in my Mass Effect 2 playthrough so the camel toe on show was down to EDI. A robot with a camel toe. Seriously.

Well the body IS supposed to be distracting...lol.... how the hell did you manage to kill Miranda off?!? She seemed practically invincible in my playthroughs.... Oh and I am playing The Witcher 2 at the moment.

I can't remember to be honest, I've slept since then. Someone died depending upon choices made I seem to recall.

I thought she had the protection of the gods or something... well unless she is used as a tech person....which I did do to Jacob once. I blame the fact that my character sounds like a creepy sexual predator everytime I talk to him. Anyway The Witcher 2 is great...makes me wish I could get into Pc gaming....would love to play the first one.

Dragon's Dogma.....I actually like the game, as far story and dialogue it's generic, but the world is huge, the combat is a hell of a lot of fun, and the pawn system is actually pretty cool. But what the hell were they thinking not allowing more than one save at a time? Would have been really nice to go back to an earlier save when I got into trouble after I rushed into an area I wasn't quite ready for. Some serious issues with saves and difficulty, but still having a lot of fun. More than with Kingdoms of Amalur.
