Sid Meiers Pirates! Love this game, so addictive! It's actually a remake of an NES game I also have and loved. It's for xbox but I'm playing It on 360 thanks to backwards comparability. It came out on pc as well.

Just finished The Darkness. It is a sweet FPS with some open ended almost sandbox aspects and a supernatural theme that comes from The Darkness comic books (which I've never read, but if they are like the game, they are worth checking out). It is not a perfect game, because it bites off more than it can actually accomplish, but it gets enough right to be a hell of a lot of fun
I am currently playing Call of Juarez: BOund in Blood. This is a truly sweet game. I like playing FPS with quality single player story modes. This one has one of the best I've seen in a while. It is a Western themed game, so if you are the type of player that likes your shooters full of incredibly powerful futuristic weaponry this one is gonna dissapoint as you are limited to six shooters, shotguns, rifles, and the occasioonal stationary cannon or Gatling gun.
It is very good, though. The controls are excellent, and they really reward a tactical approach using the cover system over just running and guning Halo style. It is a little easy, so I would recommend playing on the hard difficulty setting if you are experienced with shooters, but it is top quality. Maybe a little short for a full price $60 purchase (hey, I am a sucker for westerns, lol) but it is a must rent, as you owe it to yourself to try this game

Call of Juarez looks cool I might check it out on 360. I'm not too good at fps so it would help that it's easy. I like historcally themed games.

Get Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, though. It is the prequel to Call of Juarez. Although you can probably get the original for heap and the sequel is still a ful priced game, the fact remains that the original is not particularly good. BOund in BLood is a near 100% improvement. THat said, I think you should definitely check it out

I need to pick up MAdden at this point. I already waited too long

Left 4 Dead. Most awesome zombie multi-co-op player carnage.

Yeah, Left 4 Dead is a great multiplayer experience. I wish that they had created more of a single player mode for the game, as online gaming is not something that I can get into too often (I find that too many of the games are populated by racist 12 year olds screaming obscenities the whole time), but it is great at what it does

Yes where the he'll did all these n word screaming 10 yeAR olds come from on xbox live? I guess it shouldn't be surprising that good parenting is absent for them as they're playing MA games like Call of Duty and GTA. And I feel with sports games which is what I mostly play it's nearly impossible to win. I'm matched with 15 year olds who play 10 hours a day and have memorized all the glitches they can use to their advantage. Overall though xbox live can be a lot of fun if you avoid the negatives. Harbor Master Been playing this iPhone app game a lot lately. Check it out HNT it's worth the 99 cents.

it blows gta out of the water. it's addictive and very fun. and it's jsut silly too. the customization is amazing to the point where you can make anyone. wanna be a tranny? go ahead!. wanna be a ninja feel free. wanna be a slasher go ahead! there are several costumes like the two i just mentioned and many more. it also has an easy to follow story and it stays consistant unlike GTA. GET IT!!!!!!!!!

I'm skeptical that it blows gta out of the water (is the city and pedestrians and cars better?) but it does sounds cool and I wanna buy it. Has it dropped in price and how much. The fully customizable character would be awesome and I never understood why the gta peeps haven't done that yet.
