Back to Skyrim.....trying to stick with a character long enough to level to 50. Almost there this time, I think.

Assassin's Creed 2....I have come to the the not so surprising conclusion that I would be a horrible assassin.... I keep bouncing off walls instead of climbing up them. I am terrible at this game. That being said, enjoying it so much I am sticking with it.

And, as you advance in the game, you get new abilities and tools that make climbing easier. You are supposed to be kind of clumsy in the beginning. Plus, the key to being good at that game is mastering the fighting. If you are good at it, you can kill hundreds of guys at a time which, while admittedly tedious sometimes, can eliminate the need to climb around and try to hide pretty well

The Walking Dead is decent if you're into that old style, Alone in the Dark, Monkey Island type point and click adventure story. It's visually very stylish but very heavy on dialogue and choices. Don't go for it if you want to blast away, do go for it if you want to play in the dark with no disturbances and get sucked into the atmosphere.

I personally found The Walking Dead game to be a spectacular game and a really pleasant surprise. I think it is one of the best games of the year. It is an adventure game in structure, but it is really well done, and it has some genuinely emotionally weighty decisions that it forces you to make. There are parts in the game that really left me with no clearly good options and feeling genuinely guilty about what I had to do

But I made it through. Been sick off and on, and been lazy, so I also finished Brotherhood. Trying the first one now, before I play Revelations and the third. Also playing Dead Space 3. I agree with HNT, The Walking Dead game is fantastic. The choices can be difficult and really emotional. And I actually regretted some choices I made in the heat of the moment. The only other time I actually felt really bad about choices I made in a game was my renegade playthrough in Mass Effect 3, which just sucked.....lol.

The first Assassin's Creed is a good but not great game. It introduced a lot of really cool ideas, but it wasn't until the second game that they all came together into a really compelling story. The other two you've played are far better. Thus far, I've found Assassin's Creed 2 to be the best of the bunch (though I've had fun with all of them to varying degrees).

For some reason I am having a hard time getting into the first one, I actually moved on to Revelations. I really loved 2 and Brotherhood. But I had tried the first one awhile ago, and gave up in frustration, which is why it took me so long to play the others.

Revelations is a fantastic game. It starts out a little bit slowly, but if you give it a chance it rewards you with an ending that is really cool. For the last hour or so of gameplay, my mouth was literally hanging open as every thing I had to do was cooler than the last. Without spoiling anything, I will tell you that the game wraps up the stories of both Ezio and Altair, so if you haven't played the first game there are some rather cool and interesting sections that may not register quite as much as they should.

The only complaint I have about Revelations is the Desmond sequences, I know they aren't necessary, but kind of wanted to hear the memories, and they are annoying and tedious to get through. Figure I can watch them online....lol.

Agreed. I stopped doing the Desmond sequences because I hated them. It is superfluous side story stuff. I didn't hear it, but it is absolutely not central to the story. I also didn't care for the den defense sections, but they were easy enough to avoid, so it wasn't A very big deal
