From a good start this show has been on a downhill slide. The dynamics between the group are hackneyed, the camp cleverly sited in the edge of some woods with almost zero visibility around the tents stretched credibility, the characters are vague and generally unlikeable to the point where I was cheering when the dead finally stumbled in to camp and the most entertaining character (Merle) was only in one episode. Hopefully he'll make a comeback in season two and exact a messy revenge.
I read that Frank Darabont has sacked the entire writing staff and is going with freelancers for year two. Hopefully they can spark some life into it.

What did you guys think of the second season? It was kind of meh for most of it, but seemed to get better toward the end.

I enjoy the show, but I have heard that it kind of doesn't stay as strong as it started out. I am watching it on Netflix, so I am way behind. I still like everything I've seen so far.

I think I got bored of them being on the farm so long. They should have settled in a mall like Dawn of the Dead.

I know Im late to the party I dont want to say too much I dont know how far into season 2 HNT is but the second half of season 2 and the cliffhanger set up for season 3 has me drooling for October. Im jazzed to see a zombie show on tv that stays to the deadfathers standard for zombies. Not saying though Ive noticed many flaws but I love it nonetheless.

I know I'm in the minority being a big Shane fan but I'm bummed he got killed. It will be good to see Daryl step up to the plate though. He is one bad ass dude!

Im a little weary about this next season, that part with the armless zombies was a little too comic book for me.

Shane made some decent points here and there but he was a major dick who seemed obsessed with Rick's wife and family. He was clearly going to pull some sh*t. Good riddance in my book.

I would have preferred Rick's troublemaking bitch of a wife die instead of Shane. And especially instead of Dale

Its unfortunate that Otis had to be sacrificed but if it wasn't for Shane Carl wouldn't even be alive. Don't get me wrong Shane isn't a victim but I think Lori should take some accountability for some of this.
