Me too. I got the entire series years ago, had to get it directly from Japan, cause the only place you could get it at the time, it came with the movie as well. Do you have the 2 disc special edition Walk?
I saw the frst live action one, but then I heard about the second and that they totally changed the backstory. Blasphemy.

Not sure if you were implying that the Hangover and Borat are similar types of comedies but they're not at all. Although I enjoyed the Hangover I feel it was overrated. Borat and Bruno on the other hand are some of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Don't see how anyone wouldn't laugh their asses off at those. And the talent it would take for Sacha Baron Cohen to pull that stuff off with a straight face makes him one of the greatest actors of all time in my opinion. I can't help but appreciate his immense talent and comedic genius.

Wow, you're really missing out on a once in a lifetime comedic performance. Even my 60 year old parents got a kick out of Borat when it came out, lol.

Well, not that slowly. If thats your main concern then the animal free version is prob the way to go. Everything else in it is just special effects, or they actually killed the peolple. Watch the scene of the girl getting killed at the end, I cant sseem to find the cut when they would normally switch the actress for a dummy. Lol No, dude. Just no. I actually respect Cannibal Holocaust as an excellent film and I even enjoy watching it on occasion, but you cannot really try to justify the animal snuff scenes. THey are plenty slow, cruel, and innexcusable. So they ate the animals afterward? Big fucking deal. YOu still should not approve of animals being tortured for your entertainment.

Well, like Kurt Russel said about the skinning scene in The Thing. "It what you would do if you were skinning a dear. Some people claimed that it was too disgusting, but they don't have any compulsions about going to the super marker and buying that package of meat. They just don't see the other side of it." The turtle wasn't tortured, it was cut up. Unless you know of another way that it would be done. How do you think real natives would have done it, and most likely still do it today. How is it different then a cow getting a steel bolt blasted into its head? Notice they cut its head off first, that turtle was dead dude Who's crusading for the cow, not me, I put ketchup on it. As for the muskrat and perhaps the pig, well, maybe thats different

I think HNT's point in this (and I do agree with him on both accounts, it's a great movie but the presence of the animal cruelty is a huge stumbling block) is why was that scene there to begin with? What was the point of them including a huge, five-minute long sequence where they hogtie a turtle, decapitate and dismember it in front of you? Yeah, so what if it's there and you have to watch it to get through the movie? Why include it to begin with?
And while I'm on the subject, I'll throw myself behind the Titanic craze, but also I'll include films like Avatar, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter for their obscene lengths. Those are too long for me to handle and I therefore have no interest in them.

Exactly, GL. And Clath, your comparison of actually killing something to practical effects is even weaker than your suggestion that the killing of the animals was not cruel and improper. Frankly, we deal enough with people who don't understand our enthusiasm for horror films and gore, and accuse us of being sadistic. Nothing makes us look worse than to defend actually killing animals for entertainment. That is just a disgrace.

Christmas Vacation 2. I can't believe that someone thought it was a great idea to do a sequel, with Cousin Eddie and his family as the focus.

Any Uwe Boll movie. Joel Schumacher too, after those two crappy Batman movies.
And then there's 50 Shades of Grey, Titanic, Lord of the Rings, and it's sequels.
