It seems odd that we have a thread to talk about what movies we last saw but don't have one for TV shows. So, let's find out what we all watch on the Boob Tube.
Last night:
The Simpsons Futurama Family Guy Veronica Mars

Simpsons trailer during the show, looks like it'll be absolutely hilarious and really worthwhile.
The Simpsons Family Guy American Dad
Also Star Wars: Empire of Dreams-Pretty interesting documentary on the making of the series with 90% of the focus on the original trilogy. It's nothing hardcore fans will know in their sleep (Tunisia was hot and unbarable, studio execs thought it was a waste, production problems, etc. etc.) but still was a fine 2 hrs overall.

Quest for Dragons-As I've always loved their image and appeal, this was a really great special that I'm kinda pissed I didn't tape. From their inception into the ancient myths to the modern day fascination and mystique, it covered a lot of ground and is really informative and entertaining. A couple shots of Godzilla rampaging around while the voiceover mentions how great and powerful they were depicted was the highlight of the program, but it was still a lot of fun.

The Simpsons and Family Guy, though I'm only mentioning Family Guy for the specific reason that the episode last night contained one of my all-time gags:
When Lois decides to teach a sex-ed class, Peter offers to come along, and when he can't find K-Y Jelly, he offers Smuckers Jelly instead. Later, when Lois finds Meg with her boyfriend, Brian walks in with a sandwich: Brian: My sandwich tastes funny. What's wrong with the jelly? Peter: (off-screen) It was on my crotch. Commercial break.
One of the funniest moments I've ever seen on the show and the best part of the night. Really, really hilarious moment and I'm glad I caught it.

REal Time with Bill MAher. A great show that is well worth catching every week. I don't usuall get to watch it on Fri nght when it is on, but I call it up ON DEMAND later. BTW, ON DEMAND is the greatest invention ever. It does have the majo drawback of getting me hooked on VH1's White Rapper show though, lol.

Every Tuesday I watch the same thing. ECW at 10:00, then Dirt at 11:00. This weeks ECW sucked, but Dirt was great as always.
