We got the first disc of Carnivale in yesterday (Seeker had missed this show, and I couldn't allow that...LOL) and we watched it last night. I hate they put only two episodes on a disc, its going to take us forever just to get through 24 or so episodes...ugh. Wish I could just buy them. but still a little high, I can't justify spending that much....lol.

According to Jim In Case of Emergency Digging for the Truth Engineering an Empire
These last two were taped on Monday but watched last night. Great stuff, including Engineering an Empire, which was a 2-hr look at the accomplishments of Ancient Egypt, and that's always prime for great entertainment.

Notes from the Underbelly-Not as terrible as the previews had it look, but not being involved with a married person, which 90% of this is based around, it really didn't ring as loudly as it should, but I kept watching the entire hour so it must've been entertaining. Shows promise, so I'll stick with it.

How I Met Your Mother Two and a Half Men UFO Files Digging for the Truth-Yay, another 2-hour show, and one of my faves now. Cities of the Underground-New show, has some potential to be good, and with next week's one about Germany, holds a lot. Will stay with it for a while.

Last night:
The Simpsons Family Guy American Dad
Also messed up the timers for a movie I wanted to watch and ended up recording Friday Night Smackdown. I may have to get back into it, I don't remember most of the performers, as the last time I saw Kane he had his mask on. There's a new show on tonight, maty have to give that a go.

First episode for Australia of Masters of Horror season 2 - The Screwfly Solution directed by Joe (The Howling) Dante on a screener disc. Bloody damn good too. Looks like my Friday nights (when Rugby League - GO THE BRONCOS! - doesn't interrupt) are booked out for a while.

Wait until you get to Pelts. That's actually good. Screwfly was fine, but the second half was really lackluster and lowered it.
Well, during the week I had an virus and couldn't get online, did a lot of viewing:
Monday: Monday Night Raw-Been ages since I saw any wrestling on TV, finally getting back into it. How I Met Your Mother Two and A Half Men UFO Files Cities of the Underworld-Featuring a bunch of new facts about Germany is a great way to get my attention, and this looks like a nice little pick-up as well. Just don't like the host's narrative style. Slow down and let us hear what you have to say. I had to turn on the captioning to catch everything he said. Digging for the Truth-Egyptian show, pure joy.
Tuesday: ECW
Wednesday: According to Jim Notes from the Underbelly
Friday: Smackdown
