It's that time o year again and thank god for that.
My Buckeyes looked good taking out Miami.
A fan had a great sign "Miami can have Lebron, the real king of Ohio wear Scarlett and Grey".
As for the Bengals, I'm not hopeful. It was obviously a fluke that we swept the AFC North last season. With the Ravens set to have a good season, and probably the Steelers too, I don't have much hope that the Bengals will make it back to the playoffs this season. Didn't expect to win at the Patriots Sunday, but didn't expect such a poor showing either.

Don't give up hope just yet, man. Bengals defense looks pretty shitty, but that's an area more likely than most to improve a bit and look better down the line. They don't have the defensive personnel to be great, but they should at least be alright The offense needs to look sharper than they did for sure, and it remains to be seen whether Cedric Benson is as nice as he looked last year (for the record, he's on my fantasy team so I am betting yes he'll be fine pretty heavily) and whether T.O. and Chad Ochodouchebag are a good tandem. I don't like either of them very much, but for shear talent, it doesn't get much better and they might put on quite a show under the right circumstances. I don't have the Bengals winning the AFC North, and I don't know for sure whether you will make the playoffs, but I definitely have the Bengals competing for a wildcard. And, I have them being better than Pittsburgh with all of the Rapistberger nonsense going on right now. My Giants looked alright. NFC East is up in the air. Skins and Giants look better than expected, and the Cowboys and Eagles look way worse. Personally, I like the Saints and the Ravens or Chargers in the Superbowl this year with the Saints repeating. Ohio State looks good, but rooting for them is like watching Schindlers List and rooting for the Nazis

Haha. Bengals defense isn't what worries me. The o-line is abysmal. Carson Palmer is our biggest asset, yet what's the benefit of having a top qb if he never has more than half a second to get the ball off. Fun (or sad) Fact: Palmer has the highest qb rating in NFL history for a qb without a playoff win I'll be rooting for the Giant Sunday Night. Much prefer Eli over his brother.

Offensively, the Bengals will be fine. Still think Marvin Lewis needs to get more control of that team or else he should be fired, but I stand by the fact that the Bengals aren't bad.
As for the Giants, I am concerned because this just became a much bigger game. The whole Manning showdown is pure media hype, but the Colts losing to Houston last week makes this a make or break game for their season given what expectations were. Hard to be the other team in that equation but I am a little optimistic

Haha. I'll be rooting for the Giant Sunday Night. Much prefer Eli over his brother. Should've known this was gonna happen to us once someone from Ohio voiced their support. You guys have the worst sports luck in America.

And they played one hell of a game to do it. Beating the Ravens makes you guys officially for real.

I was listening to a local post game radio show and someone called in saying they should cut Carson Palmer because he didn't throw a td against the Ravens D. That's how dumb some people are in southern Ohio.

That is retarded. Carson Palmer has made that team look acceptable for years when it really wasn't. Finally you have a defense to back him and the Bengals might actually accomplish a few things. Cutting Palmer would be the dumbest thing possible. Almost like demanding that the Colts cut Peyton Manning after they lost to the Texans, lol. First question, who is available that would be better than Carson Palmer? There are a handful of better quarterbacks, but it isn't like Brady, Manning, and Brees are suddenly gonna become available and go to Cincinatti

Exactly, he's the best thing to happen to the team. Like ever.
We're at the Panthers next game. Another tough one.

Yeah, that was not a good game. Shame. T.O. was a monster, though. I wonder if he can consistently put up numbers like that? The Giants, on the other hand, just had a masterful defensive performance against the Bears that I believe just might be the catalyst to turn the season around.

You guys are going to embarass Tampa Bay next week. The Bengals are alright. Very tough loss last week considering they played too well to lose that game, but they will be alright. the only issue I see is that Pittsburgh looks unstoppable. They've been damn good without Roethlesberger and its only gonna get nastier now.
Giants have Houston next week. Should be a solid game, as Houston is pretty solid team these days. Giants are coming off of an inspired defensive performance Sunday Night against the Bears. Both of these teams have it in them to be serious contenders, but neither is right now. This is an important game for both teams.

Yeah, Houston has looked good but I think you guys will beat them.
The Steelers do look unstoppable which scares me since The Ravens aren't going quietly either..
