Using only the remakes, not the originals or that series, answer the following:
Which of the four remakes was your favorite?

I'm torn between TCM and F13 because I had fun with both. Halloween is easily my least favorite of the bunch, and I didn't care for NOES either, mostly because they replaced most of the teens from the original (who were all unusually good actors for a genre film) with a bunch of stereotype dead teenagers. The new Nancy was lame, and I can't even remember the names of the other actors that were in it playing her friends.
All things considered, I think that I will vote for TCM remake because R. Lee Ermey was crazy entertaining

I enjoyed the Friday the 13th remake the most. I think it's a hell of a lot of fun. And I am not a huge fan of the original films so I think that helped. But I think it was exactly what a slasher should be.
I don't like the TCM remake, because it was just too slick, too polished and that went against what made the original so scary to me. R. Lee Ermey did a good job though, and the scene with him and Jonathan Tucker in the van was very well done in my opinion. Just shows what a waste of talent there was though. The Halloween remake is just boring. I do enjoy the NOES remake though.

I actually somewhat like the Halloween remake but I'll reserve my judgement as I haven't seen the other three. I plan on seeing F13 soon and maybe I'll give TCM a watch as well.

Friday hands down, mainly because it really just felt like another sequel, rather than a remake.Plus it didn't really change the back story either.

I haven't gotten to the NOES remake yet, hasn't premiered on a channel I have yet but with a free preview weekend coming up on my cable, I'll be able to catch it and use it as a thrust back into Horror-watching.
That said, I'm kinda torn between TCM and F13. Both are awesome, awesome films that really deliver it when it comes to them doing so and I had a ton of fun with both, yet I still had some problems with both that weighs out the other. I still need to think about this one a little more.

Having officially caught up with the NOES remake, I'm going with the TCM remake. Great gore, stupendous stalking scenes, tons of suspense, and most important, actually making me a fan of one of the films in the series is a big accomplishment since I've never cared at all for the original and think it's so greatly overrated, but actually getting me into it deserves a lot of praise.

After re-watching the ANOES remake,it easily slides into 2nd position for me.
1/Friday the 13th 2/A Nightmare on Elm Street 3/Halloween 20/ Texas Chainsaw Massacre (to illustrate how lowly I rate it)

Not really a fan of any of these but I would most likely watch TCM over the others, largely because I can just stare at Jessica Biel and R Lee Ermey is a hoot (and even better in the sequel/prequel).
F13 was a big letdown, unbelievably bland.
Halloween... well, the least said about that pile of crap the better.
ANOES I am yet to see so I probably should have held off on my vote.

I wouldn't worry too much, I think you got the voting right though I am a lot more partial to F13 than you are. The rest I agree with.

I agree that you got the voting right, though I will say that once you've seen NOES, you will likely think it kinda sucks, but is still eons better than what Zombie did to Halloween

Yeah, agree. There's a big gap between what happened with NOES and Halloween, although again I'm a bit more of a fan of that film than you are. NOES has some good stuff to it, but it just can't compare to the other two which are a lot better overall.

Not really a fan of any of these either, but my number one pick would have to be Halloween. Didn't like it at first but I realized I was more entertained with it than any of the others.
1. Halloween 2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3. Friday the 13th 4. A Nightmare on Elm Street

Ugh, more Zombie fan-boyism masquerading as interest in a crappy movie. Remove his name from the credits and the movie's a piece of shit with only the intensity of the kills to sustain any interest, and there's a ton of other films out there that can provide that with a more enjoyable experience overall.
For me: 1. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Friday the 13th 3. A Nightmare on Elm Street
4, Halloween

Halloween isn't a zombie film, bro. Oh unless I guess your talking about the guy that made it. Not a fan of his music or the movies he makes. I'm just simply picking what entertained me the most out of four different piles of shit.
