Gonna shoot for a matinees when it opens here in the States whilst I'm on vacation mid part of the month. Looks promising.

Caught it last night and thought it was awesome. It is, of course, not as good as the first 2 but is better then 3 & 4 and the remake. Gory, brutal, downbeat, and Andrew Brynarski has truly become Leatherface. Kind of reminds me of R.A. Mihailof's Leatherface from part 3.

Nice. Didn't get to see it friday like I planned, because my friend had to go to his dad's house. He is coming back today, so hopefully we can get down to the theaters and check it out.

I'm still thinking about whether or not to see this, as everytime I read anything about it, it sounds like a carbon copy of the remake. Doesn't sound very original for a prequel.

I might get this for christmas. I'm not really eager to see it as I'm not a massive fan of TCM.

It opens in cinemas here soon. Toad will definitely go - so few horror movies get wide cinematic release that it is a rare treat to see on on the big screen... mind you it will be a busy month with The Descent and Saw III also opening.
