Bugger - you're in Pommieland aren't you? Did it get the 18 plus treatment there? Here it is a 15 restricted (MA)... not that that is an issue for for old farts like me, but I do remember vividly sneaking into movies like Friday the 13th (R18) when I was younger... and geting turfed out a couple of times too. Bastards.

When I went to see "Slither", an older kid let some young kids in through the exit...they got thrown out soon after.

Was Slither 18 in the UK? You're kidding? It was comic book crap.

Watched this yesterday, with thanks to Canetoad, and while i did enjoy it, (R. Lee Ermey is always good value!), felt that it was VERY predictable. I'll grab the unrated dvd with the 'flesh' cover though.

"Flesh' cover??? can you post a link? That sounds an ideal investment for Toad to make in the 'let's gross Mrs T out' department.

Thnaks but I still don't understand (as usual). Is the cover done as something that resembles human flesh in terms of texture?

Yeah, the unrated dvd has some kind of wrap around flesh cover.

I've read a review on a site which will remain nameless. And the reviewer on the site that will remain nameless said that this was much gorier that the others in the series.

My dad was scanning the TV looking for something to watch, and told me that this was coming on FUSE to at 10. I turned it over to the channel, and read the info. Sure enough it said Texas Chainsaw Massarce: Beginning (2006) and had the right cast and move info. Knowing it would be cut I wanted to watch it anyway, becase it new to dvd and I have yet to watch it. Well 10 o'clock rolls around, and I put it on FUSE just to see the old one coming on. At first I was thinking this can't be right, this looks just like the first movie, and it was. WTF? Why did FUSE do this?

Well, if you're forced to watch a Canadian music video channel to watch a horror film that hasn't even appeared on premium cable in the US yet, I'd say the joke's on you.
